Julie Sonier became President of MN Community Measurement in May 2017. She holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Amherst College. Julie comes to MNCM with 20 years of experience in health care policy and reforms to improve health care cost, quality, and access. Most recently, she directed Minnesota’s State Employee Group Insurance Program, which purchases health care on behalf of 127,000 Minnesotans. She also has previously served as Minnesota’s state health economist and worked with states across the nation through the University of Minnesota’s State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC). Outside of work, Julie enjoys skiing, biking, gardening, and reading.
